The book is devoted to Grigory I.Morozov – eminent scholar, professor, Doctor of Law. He will always be remembered as the father of the Russian theory of international organizations. He was the first to raise the issue of specialized comprehensive research on international organizations as an important element of international relations. Among the contributors to the book are G.I. Morozov’s colleagues, disciples and friends. The articles in the book deal with the subjects G.I. Morozov used to study. Particular attention is given to such issues as the activities of international organizations in the modern world and their role in the post - «cold war»  international situation with the emphasis on the role of the UN in the fight against terriorism, non-proliferation of WMD and human rights protection. The work of international European organizations in the post-Soviet environment is covered as well.
