La Libia, un tempo Paese florido e d’avanguardia nel panorama regionale africano, dopo la fine dell’esperimento socialista fondato dal Colonnello Gheddafi vive una condizione di profonda prostrazione. Il frazionamento della nazione in lotte etniche e tribali e in dissidi settari e religiosi lascia spazio per l’intervento di più attori internazionali, con diversi interessi, che ambiscono alla ripartizione conflittuale del territorio e delle risorse energetiche o sociali. Eppure, stando al lascito politico e culturale di Gheddafi, questa possibilità estrema era stata già prevista. Il futuro della Libia è oggi ancora incerto.
