In June REB’s review seems to be relatively optimistic. The diffusion index of output, in comparison with May, increased significantly (+14 percentage points). Almost the same thing happened with the diffusion index of wages and employment (+12 points each). At the same time considerably decreased the amount of stocks of finished products (-17 points). The comparison of June 2016 with June 2015 also revealed quite a lot of positive changes. Among the indicators, compared to the last year’s the most notable improvement can be seen in the order-book level as well as the quantity of the enterprises in good financial conditions. Section «Economic situation in the industry in the first half of 2016» presents a wider range of economic categories and allows to evaluate in more detail the situation in the Russian industry, taking into account a number of non-traditional indicators.
