The monograph examines supranational fiscal policy in the European Union. Main mechanisms of the fiscal regulation system in the EU are analyzed, the role of its core elements – the Stability and Growth Pact, the Fiscal Compact for the implementation of fiscal policy are reviewed. The analysis of the evolution of the Common Budget of the EU and Multiannual Financial Frameworks is given. The European taxes and projects of supranational taxes and their role in financing the Common Budget are considered. A gradual increase in the role of supranational fiscal policy and an increase in the rigidity of fiscal regulation in the EU are revealed. The book may be of use for scholars, lecturers, post-graduates and readers, who is interested in fiscal problems and European fiscal policy trends.
