The article focuses on the social and political processes that are developing in the USA since Donald Trump has come to the political stage. The authors seek to ascertain whether it is the remonstrative president who embodies a new wave of national identity transformation in the country or is it his personality and his leadership style that provoke this new wave of the transformation of values. Can we predict today the outcome of this battle of values between the two parts of the country?
