Systematized description of quantitative differences in the estimates of Russia’s export-import flows of goods reflected in the RF Customs statistics and the statistics of its partner countries. Upon comparison, differences were determined in the statistical data on 89 import items and 35 export items by such indicators of export (import) as volume, value and specific value for the period from 1996 to 2001. There were determined commodity items and partner- countries where such differences turned out to be the greatest. The differences observed during 1996-2001 are shown in the dynamics. In a number of cases, causes for the appearance of such differences are analyzed.
