Current economic crisis has sharpened the necessity of reforming European budgetary policy. The author examines EU budget and the way it should be transformed after the Treaty of Lisbon was signed. Both expenditures and revenues of Common budget are reviewed in this article as well. Also analized is the role of European budgetary policy in the implementation of “Europe 2020”.
