The monograph focuses on Russia’s role in the foreign policy strategy of the European Union and its Member-States before and after the Ukrainian conflict. It addresses the factors that have strongly influenced the evolution of the EU-Russia relations within the last twenty years. It also explains peculiarities of the bilateral relations of the EU Member-States with Russia. The book is aimed at an educated, interdisciplinary audience interested in international and European affairs. The monograph has been written by the research fellows of the Department on European political Studies at the Institute of World economy and in International Relations, Russian Academy of Sciences.
