The monograph is devoted to the multilateral research of the Czech Republic, its socio-economic and political development in the aspect of building external relations with Russia. Special attention is paid to the role of the European Union for the Czech Republic in general and for its relations with Russia in particular. Foreign economic relations of Russia and the Czech Republic in the paper are affected not only in terms of trade and investment relations of the two countries, but also the existing relations in tourism and research sectors are analyzed. The monograph attempts to evaluate the existing Russian-Czech foreign economic relations at the regional level and to identify the most important regions for relations between the two countries and the forms of existing interterritorial ties.
