The article analyzes trends and prospects for the development of data processing centers in Southeast Asia, primarily in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. The reasons for the increased interest of investors, including large world-class technology giants, in building data centers in the countries of the region, as well as the competitive advantages of individual Southeast Asian countries, are being investigated. Two main problems have been identified that may slow down the development of data center construction in the region: the necessary power supply and the search for significant land plots to accommodate the data center and related infrastructure.
