The article is devoted to the study and forecasting of economic and political processes in the Asia-Pacific region. During the next 10 years, it is no expected that a comprehensive system of trade and economic relations will be formed there. Moreover, it is stressed that there are several main economic initiatives strategies, such as China’s Belt and Road Initiative, Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership and so on, which claim to become a driver of the region. Both the US withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership and the reorientation of Washington to conclude bilateral trade agreements imposed an important influence on the economic architecture of the Asia-Pacific region. In terms of security, there are also an absent of universal security institutes and impossibility of their formation in the short and medium terms.
