World economic crisis and the following recession appeared to be the most severe for Germany and the UK for all post-war period. The current situation in the state finances and fiscal policy is quite complicated, despite the fact that the mentioned countries have two different socio-economic models. In the article, the author analyses anti-crisis measures taken in two leading EU economies.
