Schlangenbader Gespräche

Schlangenbad Talks is a series of German-Russian bilateral conferences on issues related to foreign policy and security. Gathering some 50 participants – politicians, military and business people, academics and journalists – the talks are taking place since 1998 in spring each year.

The Schlangenbad Talks are jointly organized by PRIF and the Moscow office of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. They build upon support by the Moscow office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) RAN.

On March 24, 2023 Maria Pavlova, Research Fellow of the Sector for Political Aspects of European Integration of the Department for European Political Studies at IMEMO, made a presentation "China's Foreign Policy in the Perception of the Baltic States" at the Annual All-Russian Scientific Conference "Modern Chinese State", organized by the Center for Political Research and Forecasts of ICSA RAS and the China Department of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
