On August 13, 2024, an article "Iraq: Goodbye, America" by Stanislav Ivanov, Lead Researcher of the Center for International Security of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), was published on the central Internet portal of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization "InfoSCO". The Iraqi authorities initiate the withdrawal of American troops from the country.
