On March 21, 2024, an article "Egypt Knocks on the BRICS Door" by Stanislav Ivanov, Cand. of Science (History), Lead Researcher of the Center for International Security of IMEMO, was published on the central Internet portal of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization "InfoSCO". With new members joining BRICS, the organization will confidently surpass the G7 countries in terms of GDP.
