On June 4, 2024, the “Izvestia” newspaper website published a commentary on the situation in Georgia by Vadim Mukhanov, Head of the Sector for the Caucasus of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), on the topic: “Guilty without a visa: the EU may impose sanctions on Georgia by the end of the year. What else the West threatens Tbilisi with for adopting the law on foreign agents”.
