On December 2, 2024, Vadim Mukhanov, Head of the Sector for the Caucasus of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), gave a commentary to the “Vedomosti” newspaper on the aggravation of the situation in Georgia. He believes that the protests are not yet a sign of the fall of power in Georgia, and the Georgian Dream party is not experiencing catastrophic problems.
