On October 27, 2025, Stanislav Pritchin, Head of the Sector for Central Asia of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), commented for “Nezavisimaya Gazeta” on the EU's decision to impose sanctions from November 12 against 12 Central Asian banks, including Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, in his article "The European Union Has Hit the Banks of Central Asia".
