On April 3, 2025, the website of “Kursiv Uzbekistan” published a commentary by Stanislav Pritchin, Head of the Sector for Central Asia of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), on the introduction by US President Trump of duties on imported goods from more than a hundred countries, including Uzbekistan – “How Trump's Duties will Affect Uzbekistan”.
