On March 25, 2023 Sergey Lukonin, Head of the Sector of Economy and Politics of China at IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Economics), said in a commentary for the Chinese newspaper “Economic Daily” that President Xi Jinping's visit once again demonstrates the importance of Russia-China relations.
The Russian and Chinese economies complement each other in many ways. The two sides will continue to practice true multilateralism, promote the construction of a multipolar world model, improve global governance and contribute to development and progress throughout the world.
