On April 7, 2025, Alexander Lomanov, Deputy Director of IMEMO, Dr. of Science (History), commented for “RIA Novosti” on the new round of the trade war between China and the United States. In his opinion, both countries are well prepared for the trade confrontation, there will be no quick solution, and this rivalry will negatively affect the entire world economy.
