On May 17, 2024, the “Vedomosti” newspaper website published comments by Ekaterina Labetskaya, Lead Researcher of the Department of International Political Problems, Cand. of Science (Economics), and Nikita Belukhin, Junior Research Fellow of the Department of European Political Studies, on the topic: “Why NATO Countries are Ready to Resume Cooperation with Russia in the Arctic Council”. Pragmatic cooperation is possible due to Norway's desire to prevent the structure from collapsing.
