On March 15, 2024, Alexander Krylov, Chief Research Fellow of the Sector for the Caucasus of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Dr. of Science (History), gave a live interview to the Armenian news channel Alpha News on the topic: "The West has Never Given Firm Guarantees for Armenia's Security", in which he commented on the European Parliament resolution calling on Armenia to become a candidate and assessed the reality of Armenia's accession to the EU.
