The social conflict provoked by the protests against the pension system reform has weakened the position of the prime minister. In parliament, only nine votes were missing to vote no-confidence in the Borne’s government. The political opponents sharply criticize her (and here the positions of the far-left and the far-right, as usual, converge) up to the call for resignation. Elisabeth Borne did the hard and thankless job entrusted to her by the president – she carried out a tough pension reform, deserving comparison in her stamina with the "iron lady" Margaret Thatcher...
