During the event there was the discussion of the issues of the strategic stability and security, of the global governance and of the relations between the USA, China and Russia. Alexander Lomanov made a report at an international conference in Shanghai

The eighth forum of the international China studies was held in Shanghai on September 10-11, 2019. The main topic of the event was “China and the world: the historic path in the last 70 years”. More than 300 researchers from 35 countries attended the meeting. Alexander Lomanov was the key co-reporter on the topic “The social sciences with the Chinese specific features: the innovations and the traditions” .

Russian International Affairs Council in cooperation with the Japan Institute of International Affairs held the international conference “Russia and Japan: Mutually Beneficial Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region”. The event was dedicated to the Russia-Japan cross cultural year, which was announced by the governments of the two countries in the years 2018-2019.
