378The next meeting of the Scientific and Theoretical Seminar of the Center for Comparative Socio-Economic and Political Studies was held on January 14, 2026 in the small conference room (03–04).
Galina Sidorova, Lead Researcher of the Institute for African Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Science (Politics), presented the report "Postcolonial Discourse in African Countries and Its Reflection in the Politics of Western Countries".
The next issue of the "MEMO Journal" (No. 6, 2026) is published. The issue opens with an article about changing the balance of power in multinational business. The European section includes articles on the EU's view of the future of European security in the context of the Ukrainian conflict; on changes in the EU's party and political system in conditions of the transition to strategic autonomy; and on the pragmatization of right-wing populists in the European Parliament.
