20The meeting of the international expert workshop “The prospects for trade and economic relations between Russia and Kazakhstan in the light of the new reality” was held in the hybrid format on the platform of the Orenburg Regional Universal Scientific Library named after N.K. Krupskaya on March 25, 2022.
Head of the Section for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of the IMEMO Cand. of Science (Politics) Elena Kuzmina made a report “The challenges and the opportunities for the trade and economic cooperation between the states of the EAEU” at the event.
The meeting was organized by the autonomous non-profit organization “The Commonwealth of peoples of the Eurasia” and the Commissioner for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs in the Orenburg Region Viktor Korshunov.
The participating experts from Russia and Kazakhstan discussed the prospects for the EAEU and for the Russia-Kazakhstan trade and economic relations in the light of the current conditions of the new western sanctions; the state measures for supporting of the business; the suggestions for simplifying licensing and supervisory procedures in the economic sphere, for eliminating the excessive administrative barriers and practical problems in the work of subjects of foreign economic activity; the development of the export and entering new markets; the import substitution issues, etc.
