47On July 31, 2024, an online Roundtable "Russia and Iran: Approaches to Security and Economic Development in the South Caucasus Region" with the participation of leading experts from Russia and Iran was held.
The event was attended by IMEMO employees:
- Stanislav Pritchin, Head of the Sector of the Center for post-Soviet Studies, Cand. of Science (History), – with a report "Regional Cooperation in the South Caucasus and Russian-Iranian Relations";
- Alina Vernigora, Junior Research Fellow of the Center for Strategic Planning Studies, – participated in the discussion.
The purpose of the Roundtable was to discuss Russian and Iranian approaches to security and economic development in the South Caucasus.
The organizers of the event: Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) in cooperation with the Governance and Policy Think Tank (GPTT).
