Nadezhda Arbatova made a report at the first thematic panel “From the polarization and competition to the cooperation and global governance in the times of the crisis: the prospects for the actors” of the international online conference “Competition and Polarization in the Global Governance: the European responses after the Coronavirus”.

The EUCROSS conference was dedicated to the state of the world order, to the global governance and its challenge, and to the role of major powers (such as the United States, China and Russia) in strengthening of the polarization. In the framework of the two thematic panels and the main session, there was analyzed the response of the European Union to the mentioned significant shifts in order to identify the continuity and the changes in the orientations and the strategic goals of the EU.
