On 8/9 June 2021 at the World Trade Center in Moscow an international forum "The Primakov Readings" will be held in a hybrid format, both offline and online. The forum represents an international dialogue platform at which the most eminent representatives of the Russian and foreign research and analytical centers tend to debate upon the most relevant matters regarding world economic interdependence, foreign policies and potential security issues.

In joint cooperation the event will be organized by the Primakov National Research Institute of World Economy and International Relation at the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMEMO RAS) and the Evgeniy Primakov Center for International Cooperation, and this year’s forum topic will be “The Challenges to the Contemporary World Order”.

Thanks to the devotion of both the Primakov Center and the Council of Young Scientists and Postgraduates of the IMEMO RAS this year’s fourth youth session "Global issues of the post-COVID world order: new challenges and leaders" will be held in a form of a roundtable discussion.

Call for participation in the youth session of the forum is open for postgraduate students and employees of higher educational institutions and research institutes, public and non-profit organizations, independent experts under the age of 35 inclusive, specializing in the fields of world economy, political science and international relations, international law, sociology and demography, modern and contemporary history.

Based on the results of the competition, 15 young researchers will be selected to take part not only in the youth session of “The Primakov Readings” international forum, but also in the other sessions. The forum offers the participants the opportunity to establish contacts with leading experts, former and present government officials, and business representatives, and exchange opinions and ideas.

Date: 6/7 of June 2021

Venue: Moscow, The Primakov Center.

The organizers cover travel, accommodation and food arrangement costs for the winners of the competition.
