124XXIII International Conference "Evolution of the International Trading System: Problems and Prospects" organized by the Faculty of Economics of St. Petersburg State University, will be held in St. Petersburg on April 16–18, 2026.
Employees of the Center for Energy Research of IMEMO participated in organizing the conference and will hold within its framework the session "Global Energy Transition – Dynamics and New Trends" on April 17, 2026.
The next issue of the "MEMO Journal" (No. 6, 2026) is published. The issue opens with an article about changing the balance of power in multinational business. The European section includes articles on the EU's view of the future of European security in the context of the Ukrainian conflict; on changes in the EU's party and political system in conditions of the transition to strategic autonomy; and on the pragmatization of right-wing populists in the European Parliament.
