13On May 17, 2023 IMEMO research associates participated in International Scientific Conference XIV Arbatov Readings "Global Challenges and the Changing Balance of Power" on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Academician Georgy Arbatov.
Sergey Oznobishchev, Head of the Sector of Military-Political Analysis and Research Projects of the Center for International Security at IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), delivered a report "Turning Points in Moscow-Washington Relations: Arms Control and Lessons for Tomorrow" at Session 1 "US Foreign and Military Policy".
Victoria Zhuravleva, Head of the Center for North American Studies at IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics), spoke on "Progressives 2023" at Session 2 "US Domestic Politics and Economy”.
Academician Alexander Dynkin, President of IMEMO, and Academician Alexey Arbatov, Head of the Center for International Security at IMEMO, also participated in the event.
