On April 16, 2025, within the framework of the visit to Russia, the delegation of the Center for International Policy Research (State of Qatar) held a meeting with the employees of the Center for the Middle East Studies of IMEMO.

During the meeting, a substantive discussion took place on the current problems of the Middle East, regional security issues and the state of Russian-Qatari relations, as well as the prospects for cooperation between the research centers.

Special attention was paid to the possibilities of realization of joint research projects. The parties expressed mutual interest in developing sustainable expert interaction.
