On April 7, 2023 the Directorate and the Center for North American Studies held an expert seminar-meeting with Canadian political activist Dimitri Laskaris.

The meeting was moderated by IMEMO Acting Director, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Feodor Voitolovsky. The conversation was devoted to current problems of the development of the global financial system and the impact of sanctions on the development of the economies of different countries.
