On June 2, 2023 a meeting with a delegation from the Ministry of External Affairs of India was held at IMEMO. The meeting was attended by Abhay Thakur, Joint Secretary (G20), Ministry of External Affairs of India, Sous-Sherpa, G20 India Ambassador, Ashish Kumar Sinha, Director of the G20 Department of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Deepthi Alanghat, Head of G20 Department of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, Rahul Kumar Rakesh, First Secretary of the Political Wing at the Embassy of India in Moscow, Vineet Kumar, Second Secretary of the Political Wing at the Embassy of India in Moscow, Academician Alexander Dynkin, President of IMEMO, Feodor Voitolovsky Acting Director of IMEMO, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Alexey Kupriyanov, Head of the Center of the Indo-Pacific Region. 

The meeting focused on India's priorities as G20 chair, cooperation between Russia and India within the G20 and in other formats, development of bilateral relations between Moscow and New Delhi.
