On December 22, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Russian Federation Vagharshak Harutyunyan met with Alexander Krylov, Chief Research Fellow of the Sector for the Caucasus of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Dr. of Science (History).

During the meeting, bilateral relations between Armenia and Russia in a broad international context were discussed. Vagharshak Harutyunyan emphasized the long-standing and fruitful nature of relations with the Sector for the Caucasus of IMEMO and expressed readiness to promote further development of contacts with the Russian scientific community.

Alexander Krylov spoke about future research plans and presented publications by employees of the Sector for the Caucasus.
