11On May 25, 2023 the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual issues of improvement of Legal Regulation in the Sphere of Migration" took place in the Moscow University of the Russian MIA named after Vladimir Kikot.
During the event the following topics were discussed:
- ensuring migration security in modern conditions;
- trends of improvement of the migration legislation of the Russian Federation;
- legal regulation of the procedure for attracting certain categories of foreign citizens and stateless persons to work in the Russian Federation;
- assessment of the effect of migration processes on the state of law and order in the Russian Federation;
- and several others.
Victor Komarovskiy, Head of the Sector for Social and Labor Relations and Social Mobility of the Center for Development and Modernization Studies, Cand. of Science (History), took part in the conference and made a presentation "Role and Place of Employers in Migration Regulation: Problems and Solutions" at the plenary session.
