All-Russian Scientific Conference "Russia in the Emergence of a Polycentric World: Challenges, Opportunities, Prospects" within the framework of the IX International Nevsky Forum

On June 26-27, 2025, the All-Russian Scientific Conference with International "Russia in the Emergence of a Polycentric World: Challenges, Opportunities, Prospects" was held in St. Petersburg within the framework of the IX International Nevsky Forum.

On June 26, Nikolay Nikolaev, Junior Research Fellow of the Sector of Economy and Politics of China of the Center for Asia Pacific Studies of IMEMO, took part in the work of Section 10 "Russia, India and China in the Arctic: Prospects for Cooperation in the Field of Energy and Logistics" and made a report "Results of the Implementation of the “Ice Silk Road” initiative: the Russian View".

The report presented the results of the analysis of the progress of China's “Ice Silk Road” initiative. The author emphasized that against the background of the United States restraining Chinese economic activity, the “Ice Silk Road” initiative is experiencing a crisis.
