13Center for the Middle East Studies of the IMEMO held an internal seminar on the topic “The eskalation of the conflict between Israel and the Gaza Strip: what is happening?” Tatiana Tyukaeva and Ludmila Samarskaya made reports in the framework of the event. On the meeting there was a discussion of the further deterioration of the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict. The key questions were: what have triggered the conflict, in what kind of political environment it takes place and to what kind of event it may lead.
