On October 28, 2015 IMEMO Japanese studies section head Vitaly Shvydko made a presentation at the international seminar “International Cooperation for North Korea's Reform and Opening Up", organized by the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP).
The presentation highlighted the history of economic and political transformation of Russia in 1980’s and 1990’s and its relevance to current problems of the DPRK.
