Lead Resercher of the Department of International Political Problems of the IMEMO Cand. of Science (Economics) Ekaterina Labetskaya took part in the virtual discussion on the media platform Arctic Circle Virtual, which was held on February 22, 2021. It was organized by the international assembly “The Arctic Circle”. The recommendations, prepared by the expert commission by the order of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland, regarding the prospects for Greenland and Iceland in the New Arctic were discussed on the meeting.

After the welcoming speech of Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iceland Mr. GUDLAUGUR URDARSSON, Chairman of the expert commission, former head of the diplomacy of Iceland Mr. OSSUR SKARPHETHINSSON answered the questions of the participants of the event.
