On March 7, 2024, Bishkek – Astana – Tashkent Online Video Bridge on the topic: "Geopolitics of Central Asian Transport Corridors at the Present Stage" was held in the "Sputnik Kyrgyzstan” press center. 

Stanislav Pritchin, Head of the Sector for Central Asia of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History), made a presentation "Bad Prospects for Transport Corridors Bypassing Russia"

  • Kubatbek Rakhimov – Director of the "Applikata" Strategic Solutions Center;
  • S. Omurov – Researcher of the National Institute for Strategic Studies under the Cabinet of Ministers;
  • Svetlana Antonova – Consultant of the Russian Trade Mission in Kyrgyzstan;
  • B. Derbishov – Head of the International Transport and Integration Division of the Land and Water Transport Department under the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

In Astana:
  • Akimzhan Arupov – Dr. of Science (Economics), Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations.

Participants of the video bridge discussed how the transport potential of Eurasia can be realized and what prevents it, is there a real competition of routes in Central Asia?
