On March 3, 2026, Anna Velikaya, Senior Researcher of the Department of International Political Problems of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics), spoke as an expert during the Astana – Moscow Video Bridge on the topic "US and Israel Military Operation against Iran: What Are the Threats to Kazakhstan" at “Sputnik Kazakhstan” Multimedia Press Center.

In her presentation, the expert focused on the significance of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran for the states of Central Asia.

She also touched on the issue of civilian casualties in Iran, particularly in light of the US-proclaimed humanitarian agenda of the Peace Board it created, and the question of participation of Eurasian countries in it.

Furthermore, Anna Velikaya raised questions about the militarization of artificial intelligence by Americans to eliminate the top leadership of a sovereign country and their family members.
