On May 23, 2025, Anna Velikaya, Senior Researcher of the Group on Peace and Conflict Studies of the Department of International Political Problems of IMEMO, Cand. of Science (Politics), took part in the Astana – Moscow Video Bridge at Sputnik Kazakhstan Multimedia Press Center on the topic: “New Look at the Future: What Initiatives Kazakhstan Can Offer”, held on the eve of the Astana International Forum, which has been held since 2008.

In her speech Anna Velikaya touched upon the issues of Kazakhstan's humanitarian agenda, its foreign policy priorities, global and regional positioning, and the prospects of the UN Regional Center being created for the Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan.
