On May 13, 2025, Astana – Bishkek – Minsk Video Bridge “EAEU in Conditions of Global Trade Conflicts: Challenges and Opportunities” was held in Astana on the platform of the Multimedia Press Center “Sputnik Kazakhstan”, during which experts from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus discussed the challenges and opportunities that open up in the conditions of global trade conflicts.

Speakers:

In Minsk:
  • Irina NOVIKOVA, Head of the Department of Management, Business Technologies and Sustainable Development of the Belarusian State Technological University, Dr. of Science (Economics), Professor;
In Astana:
  • Stanislav PRITCHIN, Head of the Sector for Central Asia of the Center for post-Soviet Studies of IMEMO IMEMO, Cand. of Science (History);
  • Alibek TAJIBAEV, Director of the Center for Analytical Research “Eurasian Monitoring”;
In Bishkek:
  • Nurgul AKIMOVA, economist.

The participants of the Video Bridge discussed the following issues:

  • What threats may EAEU member states face in the era of global economic wars?
  • How do the sanctions of the collective West against Russia and Belarus affect the development of the Union?
  • And why is it necessary to develop cooperative ties?

Stanislav Pritchin spoke about how trade wars will affect the EAEU.
