A webinar “Nuclear disarmament and human security”

Research Fellow for the Center for International Security of the IMEMO Dmitry Stefanovich made a report at the webinar, dedicated to the actions of the parliamentarians to contribute to the nuclear risk reduction and to the disarmament in an emerging political environment.

In the report “Russia-America Dialogue on the Strategic Stability and the Possibility of the New Measures to Reduce Nuclear Threat and Arms Control” Dmitry Stefanovich touched upon the problems of the Russia-America and the multilateral arms control processes, upon the strategic non-nuclear weapons, and upon the role of nuclear weapons in a wide range of context of national and international security.

The event was organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), Parliamentarians for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament (PNND), the Geneva Center for Security Policy (GCSP) and the World Future Council (WFC).
