Vasily Mikheev and Alexander Lomanov made reports at the international scientific conference “The cooperation in the field of security and economy between China and Russia in Northeast Asia”, which was organized by the Center for China-Russia Studies of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Far Eastern Federal University.

The discussion focused on the problems of the external challenges and the internal difficulties of cooperation in Northeast Asia, of the international coordination of efforts in this area, and of the need to address the economic problems of the post-covid era. The Chinese speakers paid great attention to the connection of the cooperation in Northeast Asia with the interaction in the Arctic region.
