V Congress of the Russian Society of Political Scientists

On February 9-10, the V Congress of the Russian Society of Political Scientists was held in Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad region. The scientific event was attended by the employees of the Center for Comparative Socio-Economic and Political Studies who spoke in the section "Ideological Space and Transformations of Identity in Modern Society: Civilizational Foundations, Political Values, Preferences, Public Choice" (section chairman – Valery Fadeev, Chairman of the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights; section moderator – Maria Mchedlova, Professor, Head of the Department of Comparative Political Science of the RUDN, Chief Research Fellow of the Institute of Sociology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Science (Politics)). 

Alexander Kamkin, Senior Researcher, Cand. of Science (Phylosophy), made a report on the intellectual heritage of Nikolay Danilevsky.

Sergei Arteev, Research Fellow, Cand. of Science (Politics), and Maxim Sigachev, Research Fellow, Cand. of Science (Politics), in their speech (online) on the topic "Political Archeofuturism, Ethnic Identity and the Problem of Development" outlined the current problems associated with the synthesis of tradition and modernity in the context of the topic of social development.
