Alexander Fedorovsky made a report at the 3rd International Forum for Northern Economic Cooperation, which was held under the auspice of the Presidential Committee on Northern Economic Cooperation and the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences (NRC) of the Republic of Korea. The co-organizers were the Korea International Trade Association, the Bank of Korea, the Export-Import Bank of Korea and the Korea Foundation.

The key topic of the expert discussion was the assessment of ways of overcoming the negative consequences of the COVID-19 in the near future, of the possibilities of modernization of the regional economies and of creating economic, scientific, technical and legal conditions for an adequate response to the new growth needs, caused by the requirements of the "green economy", of energy restructuring, and of the development of digitalization. They also considered the goals of the urgent social problems solutions.
