On February 18, 2015 the Center for Comparative Socio-Economic and Socio-Political Studies will hold a workshop within the framework of the on-going seminar dedicated to the analysis of political, social and cultural transformations in the contemporary world.

The workshop will be dedicated to new trends in EU political and institutional developments. Professor Maurizio Cotta, director of the Centre for the Study of Political Change (CIRCaP) of the University of Siena, will present a paper on “Changing equilibria in the institutions of the European Union. The impact of the crisis”/ The presentation will be followed by a discussion on the topic.

Prof. Cotta is visiting Moscow within the EU 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP7) EUinDepth staff exchange project on “European Identity, Cultural Diversity and Political Change”, an international consortium including IMEMO.
